Union Square Rampage Leaves Man Brain Dead At Bellevue « CBS New York:

I have to blog this one to get it out there since the national media is not.  Leshawn Marten, according to wittnesses said  ‘the next white person who walks by I’m going to [expletive],’, and then he did in fact in effect kill Jeffrey Babbitt; who is now clinically brain dead.  This is clearly a hate crime since Mr. Martin is black, and Mr. Babbitt is white.  Why the national media will not report this is anyone's guess, but my belief is that it doesn't fit in their preferred model that only white men are racists.  The fact is that anyone can be, and that it's not only a white on black issue.  It's a hate issue, and a problem for all groups.
